We are working on you behalf ..... recently AIRSS was well represented at the Fair Funding Rally on the steps of the Capitol in Springfield. Board members Michael Curry, Jennifer Garrison, Gary Depatis, Board President Mark Twomey and Executive Director David Ardrey attended the rally on May 17th. As a part of the formal agenda Executive Director Ardrey spoke from the podium representing rural and small schools and the need for a new formula.  

 

After the rally they spent time at the capitol attending meetings and talking to various legislators regarding the funding formula and a budget  We, (AIRSS) were honored to stand with and support Advance Illinois in this effort and the following link provides more information from the rally.
