Dr. Steve Webb – Board Member

 

Dr. Steve Webb is Superintendent of Goreville Community Unit School District #1 in Goreville, IL.  As Superintendent for the past 16 years, Dr. Webb has ascended to many leadership positions in Illinois including Past-President of both the Illinois Association of School Administrators and the Association of Illinois Rural and Small Schools where he continues to serve as a member of the board.  Most recently, he was elected to represent Illinois on the American Association of School Administrators Governing Board, was selected as an IASA "Superintendent of Distinction", and was recognized as a “Leader Among Us” by the Southern Business Journal.  In addition to his K-12 duties, he is also a certified Law Enforcement Officer, founder of Safe School Systems, LLC - a consultant group that helps schools with assessing and addressing their safety needs, and he is an Adjunct Professor in Educational Administration for Southern Illinois University, Eastern Illinois University, and McKendree University.

 

 

Dr. Steve Webb is Superintendent and School Resource Officer of Goreville CUSD 1 and President of Safe School Systems, LLC. He is the Past-President of the IL Association of School Administrators and the Association of IL Rural and Small Schools and Board Member for the American Association of School Administrators.
